Simon Wookey

Simon Wookey grew up in Sussex where he learnt to sing in the tenor section of his father’s youth choir. He studied in Kingston upon Thames before spending his twenties singing in any choir that would have him. In his thirties he started conducting before meeting Gareth Malone and starting his relationship with South Oxhey Community Choir. In 2010 he became Music Director., and has been arranging music for the choir ever since.
