About
South Oxhey Choir is a fully inclusive, non audition community choir that welcomes anyone from South Oxhey and the surrounding areas. We sing a wide variety of music from popular classics to classical pop, guided by our music director, Simon Wookey.
History
South Oxhey Choir formed in 2008 for the TV series The Choir – Unsung Town with Gareth Malone. While our history will always be important to us, we have come a long way since our TV days and continue to build our wide repertoire, covering many genres of music.
How to join us
You can join us every Tuesday in term time at
Oxhey Wood Primary School, rehearsing from
7:00pm-8:30 pm.
Everyone is welcome to sing with us, regardless of age and musical ability. You don't have to be able to read sheet music or have any previous experience.
If you are under the age of 18 you need to be accompanied by an adult.
